“Best of Desert 2022” Win for Home Health at Desert Oasis Healthcare
Top 3 Finalists in Family Physician and Urgent Care Categories
(December 9, 2022 – Palm Springs, CA) – At the Readers’ Choice Awards gala last night, Miss California USA announced Home Health Services at Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) as winner in its category for the second consecutive year. Top 3 Finalists in their categories also included Dr. Michael Jardula for Family Physician and DOHC Immediate Care Clinics for Urgent Care. DOHC Immediate Care had previously won its category for two consecutive years in 2020 and 2021.
“While it’s nice to be recognized in any category, the most important things to us are providing care, convenience, and community,” said Osmundo Saguil MD, FACP and Medical Director of Clinical Services & Home Health. “We’ve been around for more than 40 years and are one of the first medical groups in the desert communities of southern California.” Today, DOHC is a member of Heritage Provider Network, serving nearly 700,000 individuals in California alone.
Brian Michaelsen, Home Health Services Operations Administrator at DOHC added, “I’ve worked in Home Health and Hospice since 1998 and have seen absolutely top-notch care by our Home Health staff. That’s why this award is so deeply gratifying for all those at DOHC who offer skilled care in-home that can help you or a loved one feel better, regain independence, and have a better quality of life after an injury, illness or surgery.”
