Hospice Care
Look to Desert Oasis Healthcare (DOHC) and our partner, Family Hospice Care, for high-quality in-home services for patients and their loved ones.
What’s Hospice Care?
Considered the model for quality, compassionate care for people facing life-limiting terminal illness, hospice care involves an interdisciplinary team-oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management, symptom control, and emotional and spiritual support expressly tailored to the patient’s needs and wishes. Support is also provided to the patient’s loved ones. At the center of hospice care is the belief that each of us has the right to die pain-free and with dignity, and that our families and loved ones will receive the necessary support to allow us to do so.
