About the Provider

Compassion is at the core of Dr. Mustaqeem Qazi's practice of medicine, which he delivers to his patients with a big dose of empathy and warmth. "I believe in dignity and justice for all living things, whether human or animal," Dr. Qazi says.

Family has always been a big influence in Dr. Qazi's life and his philosophy that service must be humane follows the lead of his oldest brother, who encouraged him to pursue a career in medicine. Today, Dr. Qazi and his work are supported by his wife and three children.

Dr. Qazi feels his patients must partner with him in maintaining their health with a sensible diet and getting enough exercise. He practices that advice in his own life by relaxing with reading, long walks, painting and taking photos.

While following the New York Knicks and the Pakistani cricket team are high on his list of favorite pastimes, internal medicine centers Dr. Qazi's professional life.
