What’s Medicare Advantage HMO ?
Medicare Advantage is a Part C option under Medicare. Medicare Advantage HMO health plans accepted by DOHC:
- See a list of Medicare Advantage HMO Plans
- Most plans offer the same benefits as traditional Medicare (Part A for hospitalization, Part B for doctor and outpatient services, Part D for drugs), plus dental, vision, hearing, gym, and transportation benefits
- Offer out-of-pocket cost protection
- Give you access to a wide range of DOHC services, including wellness clinic, medication management, diabetes management foot care, health education, and more
When Can I Enroll?
You can choose Medicare Advantage during the Medicare Open Enrollment Period (October 15 through December 7). This is the time each year when all people who have Medicare coverage are able to change their health plans and prescription drug coverage for the following year. Attend an Open Enrollment meeting.
