Getting Ready for Your Virtual Visit
Please review the following information to better understand the software and hardware requirements of our Virtual Visits.
The Lifesize App
DOHC uses the Lifesize app for our Virtual Visits.
*Note: Some older phones may not work for virtual visits. If your phone is older you may want to ask to use another household member’s newer phone for your visit.
Before you download the app, please run the most recent updates on your phone, laptop or computer you intend to use for the visit.
Downloading the App
Please click the download button to be taken to the Lifesize website to begin the download process.
You can also click here to begin the download process, as well.
Please also read the Virtual Visits Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) to learn more about downloading the Lifesize app.
Testing the App
Once you've downloaded the app, please click the system test button to be taken to the Lifesize website to begin testing the app to make sure it's working on your end.
You can also click here to begin the testing process, as well.
During the Testing Process
You will be taken to a secure site. If you see the following image, it means your system is compatible:
This site is enabled with Alexa technology, so you can talk to Alexa and ask her a question.
If you see the above image and Alexa responds to you, you are ready to go.
If you don’t see the image or hear Alexa, please call your doctor's office and a staff member will assist you.
You can also try using another device.
